2016 Jaguar XF S - Review 2022

The XF is the machine that kicked off a design renaissance for Jaguar when it was start introduced in 2009, and it's the model that helped ignite sales growth for the iconic British brand after years of sliding market share. For 2022, the XF gets a complete overhaul, although the exterior styling hasn't dramatically changed and the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine also carries over, but now comes in 2 versions: 340 or 380 horsepower.

The big differences are that the all-new XF has more interior space thank you to a longer wheelbase, it'south now constructed from more than aluminum for better fuel efficiency, and it gets an updated and cloud-connected infotainment arrangement. While these improvements build on an already-great midsize luxury sedan, we found that the new Jaguar InControl Apps platform and JustDrive interface are frustrating to use and are sorely lacking in app choice compared with the competition.

How Much?
The 2022 Jaguar XF comes in four different trim levels, beginning with the Premium with a base price of $51,900 and extending to the top-of-the-line S we tested, which starts at $62,700. Our test car also had several options calculation $nine,340 to the price. With a $995 destination and delivery charge, the final sticker was $73,035.

Individual options on our test motorcar included Quartzite Metallic paint for $550 and a caput-upwards display for $990. The $2,000 Comfort & Convenience Pack adds cooled front seats, heated rear seats, soft door close, and a power-shut trunk, while a $2,700 Luxury Interior Upgrade Pack includes an electric rear sun shade, manual rear-window shades, four-zone climate control, 10-color ambient lighting, a suede headliner, and illuminated door sills. The $3,100 Driver Help Pack adds adaptive cruise control with Queue Assist, automated emergency braking, proximity camera system, Traffic Sign Recognition, and automated parallel and perpendicular parking.
